Masks - Science

Pros and cons

The most important facts about the purpose of masks

Prof. Dr. Andreas Sönnichsen

Specialist in internal medicine, general practitioner, former chairman of the German Network for Evidence-based Medicine (DNEbM)

Correlation established between mask requirement and mortality from Covid19

According to the states in the USA, an 86% increased probability of mortality among Covid19-infected people in states with compulsory masks has been proven. Causal relationships cannot be inferred from this, but it should encourage examination.
The causal relationship: The humid climate inside the mask makes it easier for viruses and bacteria to survive and multiply. The deeper breathing due to the air resistance allows them to reach the lungs more easily. Masks therefore appear to be more harmful to health according to this MEDICINE article by Dr. Zacharias Fögen.

Masks release microplastics into the lungs?

What was previously confirmed by many doctors, such as our med. Advisory Board, Rolf Kron, Dr. Walter Weber, among others, has now also been proven in larger studies: https://thefreethoughtproject.com/study-shows-most-people-now-have-microplastics-found-in-disposable-masks-in-their-lungs/

Masks are not clearly useful, but should be weighed up in terms of advantages and disadvantages for the individual and the respective social situation. Anyone who blindly follows the mask compulsion and does not stop coercing themselves and others, who does not look for alternatives for protection, is poorly off in terms of health.

Gurgle instead of mask! Ex-Stiko boss and hygiene expert is still right!

Prof. Dr. Zastrow is the former head of the Standing Committee on Vaccination and a specialist in hygiene, former head of the Institute of Hygiene for Hospitals.
How can we protect ourselves? He explains very logically that all experts agree that the virus first multiplies in the mouth and throat for about 3 days before it enters the lungs or is passed on in an infectious amount.

Consequence: Killing the viruses in the mouth and throat every three days!

His solution is a Betaisodona solution (0.1 ml Betaisodona and 0.1 ml water), which you gargle with for 30 seconds every three days in the evening. He also sees no solution for masks in public spaces, as they are neither worn correctly nor do they produce fewer viruses through repeated use. He has been saying this since 2020. The mask studies you should know about

Written on April 25, 2022 by BBarucker

First, an introduction to the different levels of research quality and the "hierarchy of evidence". Not all studies are of equal certainty or quality, but the absolute most reliable and certain studies we can get tend to come from systematic reviews and meta-analyses of randomized control trials(RCTs). the following table from the Center for evidence-based medicine:

Luckily, we have the highest level of evidence we can get for the effectiveness of masks. A systematic review of randomized control trials. The Cochrane Library (widely regarded as the gold standard in evidence-based medicine and medical research) was even censored for publishing a link to its systematic review on the effectiveness of masks.
Cochrane Database of Systematic Reviews: Physical interventions to interrupt or reduce the spread of respiratory viruses

"We included nine studies (eight of which were cluster RCTs) comparing medical/surgical masks with no masks to prevent the spread of respiratory viral disease (two studies in healthcare workers and seven in the general population). There is low-certainty evidence from nine studies (3507 participants) that wearing a mask makes little or no difference in influenza-like illness (ILI) compared to not wearing a mask (risk ratio (RR) 0.99, 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.82 to 1.18). With moderate certainty, there is evidence that wearing a mask is likely to make little or no difference to the outcome of laboratory-confirmed influenza compared to not wearing a mask."

Our online conference on the topic from 03 May 2022

Note: Despite our best efforts and many requests, we were unfortunately unable to secure a speaker for the pro-mask page.

Conclusion:

The two experts found consensus pro/contra mask in the following statements:

  1. FFP2 masks for longer than 2 hours are unhealthy and do more harm than good
  2. .
  3. Outdoors you can move around without a mask, as the probability of picking up the virus is close to 0.
