What is good education? Our premise is that education should always have the meta-goal of helping people to experience lasting happiness. This applies to students, teachers and parents alike. It is not about brief sensual pleasure, but about lasting happiness and the reduction of suffering. If we compare the meta-goal with the actions during the coronavirus pandemic, the existing conditions, then something has been going very wrong, and not just since 2020. We should not establish schools abroad until we define what has gone wrong here. What are the necessary cornerstones to remember the natural joy of learning that everyone has when they are born?
